Low - Voltage Switchgear and Control Gear: Electrical Equipment (Quality Control) Order, 2020 notified In Nov 2020 for various types of Low - Voltage switchgear and control gear as per IS/IEC 60947 : Part 2 to Part 5 was also moved to Scheme – X (Certification) in May 2023
Omnibus Technical Regulation is very similar to the FMCS/ISI Certification scheme process wherein factory audit will be conducted by BIS prior to grant of License.
